honda makes the civic and accord. the civic is the lower end, aimed more towards young drivers and it has tons of parts for modification. the accord is more of the bigger, luxury model.
toyota makes the carolla and the camry. just like the civic, the carolla is the lower end model. its not so much for young people, but more of the economy/budget friendly car. the camry is the luxury version (it normally has things like a wood trimmed dash.
it all really depends on your personal preference. all of them are great cars when it comes to styling, reliability and good mpg (especially the civic and carolla.)
myself, being 18, i love the civic. i have a 2005 and i am working on modifying it bit-by-bit.
find a camry, carolla, accord and civic all in your price range and see which one you like the best. you could a car with more features and less mileage for less money if you go with the civic or camry because they have a lower base price. i would get the civic ex if i was you!
