There really is no "better" choice it really depends which you like better. The F250 will definitely get worse fuel economy but if you need to haul gear around it's certainly better. It would also be better in inclement weather. The Mustang is faster and gets better mileage but it's small and harder to control in rain and snow. Besides that it comes down to cost and personal taste.
