What can you do with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Economics?

It's a good major. Unless you are majoring in a high skill, high knowledge,or high tech discipline, your major is not a determining factor in the kind of job you get.
Just be sure to

1) develop your ability to meet people and talk intelligently to them on a variety of subjects.
2) learn how to think
3) learn how to understand what's going on in the world, including your community and the company that you are interviewing.

im majoring in economics right now but im not sure what kind of jobs i can get out of college and whether or not it is a good major or a useless one. has anyone here majored in economics and have a good job. i would like personal experience or second hand experience rather than stuff found on the internet. best answer 10 points
