just a side question: are eye floaters connected to allergies??? i NEVER put the two together... but it makes sense now!!

MRT, I thinking that anytime something is flowing down your throat into your stomach, it affects it. I will keep you informed ask that you do the same.

My Kaiser allergy DR. doesn't know anything about allergies.

I've been going to her for the last 6 months.

Next monday I get a CT scan of my head to see is I have a sinus infection.

I'm having all sorts of bad things happen to my body.

I have Brain fog, bad skin, eye floater, etc etc etc.

But now i'm having yeast problems? my tongue is all white. now I have jock itch, and athletes foot????

I have allergies to thing I work around, but I never really knew it, I never had the runny nose, or itchy eyes, I just feel light headed 24/7.

My allergy tests were off the charts, I was +4( I guess thats the highest) with Grass, Mold, Dust mites, rag weed. and I had other minor allergies to my pets, and what not.

I guess when ever I Google allergies, it just talks about runny noses, and itchy eye's???? I dont have any of that. and I've had bad allergies for over 10 years untreated.

I will stick with the shots.

I think I have to. Nothing else helps me.

I just hope it starts working soon.

Your nurse is a liar, I am black. LOL! Everyone is going to react to an injection of something that you are allergic too, may mild, may be severe.

I am starting to feel some improvements. Had my 4th shot this morning.

Do you take an antihistamine the morning of your injections? That will help with the side effects.

And only 2 shots for 6 weeks? Lucky you - I had four a week ( 2 each 2 times a week) in the beginning and then at maintenance 2 per month for 5 years.

I'm new to this sinus thing. Moved from Cali to TX less than 2 yrs ago and now I have sinuses. I was wondering what the shots are for? How often? How do they help?

The shots are for allergies.

The DR. does the pick test and finRAB out what you have allergies to, then treats them. Some times if they're bad enough, the DR will treat you with allergy shots. If not, then meRAB.

I hope they'll help me.

yeah, I had a reaction today with the shots. My throat swelled up. This sucks bad. I hope these shots are worth it.

Im so freakin light headed. I need something to work.

LOL, she said black female have the highest risk of reactions with the shots.

I forgot to ask what symptoms you have?

Do have sinus trouble?

With me I have NO sinus problems, I'm just really light headed, and my vision is blurry. :dizzy:

LOL!

Stuffy head, nasal congestion, post nasal drip that upsets my stomach, dizzy\foggy, off balance, plugged ears, irritable (like PMS) and fatigue.

By the way, I had a huge reaction to yesterday's shot. My right ear started popping last night and my right jaw hurt. Similar to flying with a head cold. Feel better now though. I had to think, I am being injected with all of these things that my body hates. I know that is will get better as my body starts to produce defenses against them.

My next shots are Monday.

TTYL.

Have you not tried an antihistamine? Plenty of options OTC - claritin, zyrtec. Are you going to take allergy injections?

I had a CT scan of my sinuses, everthing came back fine, I start my shots next monday, its taking for ever to get anything done. The doctor is going to start me on singular...

I got mine today.. I was there forever.. I had to get something incase I had a reaction to the shots.

But the DR. started me on Singulair too.. I had kind of a funny reaction to it. I felt even more light headed, and really spaced out. But O-well, I'm fine now.

I was happy to feel no pain with the shots. I couldn't believe how small the needle was. :o

I only only go 1 time a week, for the next 20 weeks, then every other week.

I kinda sucks because the DR is a hour away from my house.

He there,

Glad that you got started.

It is normal to feel affects in that, as you know, the injections contains the allergens (cat, dog, dust, dust mite, feathers, mold, grasses, trees) that we are trying to avoid and they give you a little more each time. I started week 2 yesterday and will go back to tomorrow. Mon & Wed of each week for the first 6 weeks.

I am blessed to have my doctor to be only 12 miles away from work. So it's take about 10 minutes to get. However, I have to wait 20 minutes after each shot to see how it affects me. Once I get to monthly, I will only have to wait 5 minutes.

I know that it's soon, but I am feel just a LITTLE something in the positive direction. A mom at the clinic last week told me that I will be able to notice more of something positive after a month of the shots.

Keep in touch as you continue with your shots.

Do you have to pay a co-pay? My insurance company pays 100%.

Do you get 1 shot in each arm? I get one in both arms each time.

Take care,
Aarondawg

Does anyone have joint and or muscle pain in connection with untreated allergies? I've read somewhere online that it's possible, just wondering if any of you do? Now I order some meRAB online at totaldrugs24.com - Hope it'll help me
