They said they had a complaint of people smoking weed and we smelt like it. They didn't search us, we had nothing on us, and we denied smoking weed. We said we were in a house where people were smoking in the other room. They took our names. My friend gave his real information. But i lied about mine because I will get kicked out of my program If I get a misdemeanor. I told them the correct last name, birthday, and major. But I lied about my phone number, address, and first name. Then the officers left and said they'd be in contact with us if the court decided it was enough information to arrest us. What will happen if they can't find the name I gave in the records?
