i plan on joining either the army or the marines within a month or two, and im wondering what can possibly prevent me from being accepted? not so much physical problems because theres nothing wrong with me..but any other possible factors taken into account?

thank you to everyone who has answered so far, your wisdom has been invaluable..heres my situation...i get off probation in about 2 weeks..i am physically fit and im sure i can test well on the exam thats not what worries me..the problem is that over the last 2 years ive fallen behind on most of my bills because i lost my job..however, i plan on using my signing bonus to pay it all off in full...is this a realistic plan? and what if i start making small payments on my deliquent bills now?
