What can I wear with this sleeveless denim zip-up thing?

I bought something that looks exactly like this from Forever 21:

It has that zipper in the front, just like the picture. Can you really wear by itself, the way the girl in the picture is wearing it with THAT kind of zipper?? Doesn't it seem a little weird?

Should I at least wear a t-shirt or something with it? If so, what else can I wear underneath it? Thanks!
 
Personally, I like it by itself.
But it would look alright with a black tee (tank, short-sleeve, or long-sleeve) if you wear black skinnies with it. :)

i thinks its really cute and adding a shirt might take away from it
but if u wanna put something under it id say a tank top(black?)...
maybe like a back tee (not a tee shirt, like those tighter one from pac sun or american eagle)

I think it looks great by itself! But if you want more coverage you could do a sweet cami underneath. Or its the winter season... what would look really hot is a black long sleeve shirt underneath with a pair of black skinny pants... but not jeans... you don't want to rock the denim tuxedo.

Wear a beater under it or a zipped-down sweatshirt over it, unless you want to look like a skank lol. It's cute but not alone!
