what can i get to keep my battery from dying if my car isnt cranked?

i was listening to a cd without the car being cranked for like 30 mins, and had to get a jump off. i have two 12" subs powered by a 800w amp with a 4 farad cap, 4 six and a half door speakers, 4 6x9s powered by a 840w amp, and 4 tweeters. thanks in advance
 
Your battery dies because your alternator isn't running to keep the battery recharged. To avoid this, don't play your radio without the car on for longer than 5 or 10 minutes. Because when you're running subwoofers they drain a lot of power from the battery.
