What can i feed my paradise fish?

What can i feed my paradise fish to give them a balanced diet. I know they need plant matter as well as a high amount of protein but i don't know what the best cheap options are as i do not have much money to buy them more expensive live treats.

i would buy them flake food from wilkinson or tesco it doesn't matter about the make they all basically the same, i feed my gouramies this and they are all healthy and strong so you dont really need to feed them live food. this would turn out cheaper too

blood worm
mosquito larva
they may eat pellets or flakes too but vary it
