i just got a new beta fish last sunday he is red and he is kinda boring not that i don't like fish he is cool but what can i do for fun with him

What type of set up do you have?

Betta fish can be very active when housed correctly. He requires at least a 2.5 gallon tank (bigger is better), gentle filtration, and an aquarium heater. Thei water temperature should be maintained between 77F-82F.

Inactivity is usually linked to cool temperatures and poor water quality.

you can get a tooth pick and get it wet put sum fish flakes on it and somtimes they jump out to get it. also you could add some cool scenery to the back ground.

fish are not dogs >_>
they don't do tricks.

if you bought a fish expecting that it was gonna do back flips inside a fish tank then you have the wrong idea.

only "fun" thing you can do if you have a big enough tank and a male Betta is get a small mirror, and place it in front of him and watch him get angry. But remove the mirror or else he might adapt.

Nothing really. Its just a fish. You can't play with them, pet them or make them do tricks. They are just pretty to look at. Some fish can be "trained" to follow your finger across the bowl, but that's about it.
