I have Trachycarpus fortunei mature 5 yrs. The leaves got severely damaged (bent in half and bruised) under the weight of the snow this winter. Since we moved house last year it was uprooted and re-planted into a huge aluminium pot in November by my gardener (thus saving as much as of its root as possible). Despite the risk of re-planting, it looks like it has survived this. Some of the leaves were sagging and few lower ones were cut off to help grow. But some leaves now are sagging again. Why? It is still growing four new leaves in the middle, those are undamaged. What is best to do now? Thanks.
