asurion thru verizon wireless? I have a phone I lost that I claimed insurance on and got a new one for $50 from asurion. The old phone I found I tried to activate thru verizon and they need to have me call asurion to lift the "hold" on the phone so that I can activate it. Verzion said it could be percieved as insurance fraud; is there a way to get around this? What else can I do with this phone with out giving it up to asurion? I would like to activate it and add it to another line on my account, or sell it. Any ideas? Does that mean that this phone has a "bad" esn #? what can you do with a phone with a bad esn #?
