I am currently doing my GCSE s and I want to go and study History at university as it is my favourite and strongest subject i not sure what period to specialise in probably roman or medival but i might decide on something different, not modern though. I am not thick I should get all As and A*s. Does anyone know what sort of jobs I could do with a History degree in England which isn't teaching??

Time Team.

The above answers are viable as well, depends if you want to teach or work in a museum. Researcher could be fun, especially in relation to historical accuracy on television programs.

Failing that, join the astro physicists in warehouse work.

You could obviously be a history teacher. Other possibilities are archivist, museum curator or librarian.
