I was in the San Bernardo area to bring recycles to the recycling station. Is not too difficult.

The required information which the recyler wanted was

valid drivers license
car license plate number
description of recycled items
a statement that shows the owner of the items
a foto or video of the owner
A thumb print of the owner

So I have written down my address in Europe and the current address in California incl. the license plate from the car which I rented.

So, in case I am only a European I had no California drivers license
The recycler wanted my passport, but it was a European one, so it was not accepted
My European drivers license didn't helped me too.

So, the recycler was very helpful and asked the other people there and the 6th person agreed to take the 5 $ to his name. The other was too afraid to take the 5$ for me.

So now the question, what can I do to get the money for my empty bottles and cans by my self on a legal way. I think to make a California drivers license makes no sense to recycle the the cans for the next 4 weeks
