i have an 88 jeep cherokee pioneer 6cylinder 4wd, i beleave the rear main seal is leaking, what can i do? is it ok to use some kind of sealant and seal off the place where the rubber is between the metals? other than those additives that dont work, is there something else i can do other than replacement?
if anyone has had a replacement before, how much did it cost?
