What can I do to my Mazda protege 5?

Ok so what I'm basically asking is what I can do to make my Car faster and how to make it perform better. Also where can I
get a radar that's good and has a good price on it. And recently I got street glow neon lights what can I use that'll look good in red? I know I sound like such a bigginer but it's my first car an I want to have se fun with it. Thanks for any help
 
I find this amazing how many times I see this question asked here.

What you are basically saying that I bought this little 4 banger wing pinger economy car and I don't like its performance.

You have two choices here.

Keep your little wing pinger economy car. Start by adding the popular do nothing bolt on parts like a cold air kit and a muffler only to realize that this car is still a dog. Then get serious and start adding some real performance parts. Then realize that you have spent a lot of money but the thing still isn't all that fast.

Or

Sell your little economy car. Take the money that you got from the sale and add several thousand dollars that you would have spent on upgrades. Take this money and buy something with a V8. Maybe a Mustang GT. You will have something that is much faster than this little Mazda wing pinger economy car could ever hope to be. You will also now have a decent platform for future modifications. V8 engines take very well to modifications. Also, there is a much larger amount of aftermarket parts available for a Mustang GT.
