what can i do to fix my 90 chevy s10 blazer? it acts like its going to die

but also the rpms will rev high? it acts like its not getting enough gas,sometimes the motor just revs really high and sometimes it will run just fine for a couple of minutes. the service engine soon light starts flashing and the shift light comes on steady and that's when it starts acting up
