What can I do to alleviate the squeaking of my A/C belt in my 1991 Honda Accord?

My compressor has been replaced. I have taken it to my mechanic and he, as well as others in the shop, confirm that there are no leaks and it is holding coolant. But ever since replacing it I get a chirp when I start the car and when it is cold (under 20 degrees) the squeak persists even longer. It also squeaks when I accelerate or decelerate. I'm told that the compressor is just stiff and it should go away. But it has been a couple weeks and it still does this especially when cold. As I drive the car it does it much less. After driving for about 20 minutes or more it stops entirely. Regardless I feel there has to be a way to alleviate the issue. I figured either some belt dressing on the belt or possibly some machine oil in the compressor. Suggestions would be helpful, thanks.
Kudos on the using your compressor suggestion. It hadn't occurred to me that may help it unstiffen. Obviously not being in use due to it being very cold out I'm sure that contributes. Also kudos on the identifying of the proper belt. I'm sure you're right and that it is under tensioned. I will call my mechanic and have him adjust that. Can you over tighten a belt? It makes sense its the tension (actual tensioner part is fine according to my mechanic) since over time using the vehicle would only stretch the belt to one point to another hence the increased squeaking over the last week or two. Thanks guys.
