what can i do once ive jailbroken my iphone?

well ive been lookin for a couple of month on how to jailbreak my iphone 3g version 3.1.3 there wasnt any for the 3.1.3 last night i found the new one for it a got cydia with it av downloaded themes ringtones to set as my one when someone fones me but thats all, does anyone know what els u can do with it jailbroken on cydia or another one you have to pay for some apps i thought it ment once uve jailbroken it they were all free i would like to set ma own ringtone for my sms but i dunno how if u know how to get all free stuff and extra cool hings could u please tell me ive not got a clue lol thanks x
