Last year, my financial aid from my fasfa application didn't cover my books or housing. I put about 800 dollars on a credit card because i couldn't afford my books. 2 Semesters worth of books on my credit card I had signed up for at the university. Worst thing EVER.
What do I do now?
this is my situation
I am about to return to school which is about 5 hours from home. I have enough to cover tuition from my fasfa but now I won't have on campus living and have to find an apartment with minimal income at the moment.(Unemployed!!! Laid off and moving
) The credit card with the 800 had a spending limit of 750, so I went over on that. They charged me some fee every month cause I was over while i was in school for a year. I'm still over the 750 and now am sitting at about 1,080.
Is there any place I can get another loan to A) pay off credit card and B) pay for the first month/security deposit and etc of the apartment off campus.
Fasfa pays for school and an extra loan pays for the rest of this mess to get me out of the hole? If that makes sense. I'm in a major predicament I don't know what to do, I cannot make payments on this credit card payments, they are getting higher and higher and i Don't want to deplete my credit (it's pretty good atm)
