Hi, I am a single mother joining the military, but I am also on section 8 housing. I am going reserves mainly to get experience to make a better life for my kids. Because of the economy, Housing is saying that my mother that is going to care for my kids can't stay at my house, but she only has a 1 bedroom apt so my kids cant stay with her. Also they said that they would not cover their portion of my rent while I am in boot camp and A-school (a total of 9 months), but like I said I am going reserves, there would be no way I can pay that. Does anyone know of any rights I would have?
What can I do about my Section 8 Housing, while I go to boot camp for the military?
