What can I do about my coworkers who complain about me?

I feel like my Manager and my coworker don't like me. The manager and coworker are really close because the manager knew the coworker's mom while she was pregnant of my coworker. This has been getting difficult more and more because I got partnered with my coworker. They've both been working in the program for years and I've only been there a year. My supervisor called yesterday and told me a customer complained, but what got me the most was that when she said my coworkers have been complaining about me. Now my manager hasn't talked to me not once about any problem. When I am at work I do my job, and I'm never on my cell like they are. My supervisor wants to talk to me. What can I do?

That's always tough-they are playing favorites and being immature only because they knew eachother. They are being unprofessional. If it gets out of hand, contact the main person involved. You need proof though-proof that they are saying stuff about you-and that's hard.
Most likely, leave your job.

I'd ask exactly what and when did that customer compain about; I'd also ask exactly what and when are my coworkers complaining about.

Take notes-incuding your manager's reaction to your questions. Ask how you could "remedy the situation." Document her response, follow it, send her a copy. She may get visibly nervous when she sees you're taking notes, but don't worry. That's your right, and if she prevents/tells you from doing so-keep documenting.

Keep doing your job. I know it's an uncomfortable environment, but try to the best of your abilities.

f these "complaints" accelerate, keep documenting. This time send HR a copy, along with your initial meeting notes and the fact you sent your supervisor a copy.

If they intensify their obnoxious behavior towards you - keep documenting. This time HR gets copies of ALL your documentation. What you're doing is putting everything on record, and using the chain of command

If possible, ask for a transfer.

You're actually in a hostile environment with people acting like schoolyard kids. Rise above it by documenting.

In case you're fired (I hope not) on some petty charge, your documentation could be admissible as evidence that you worked in a toxic environment - illegal. This is what they don't get.

All the best.
