When the tech at the store i bought the e61 from flashed the phone, it slowly went downhill.
Occasional "SIM is not registered" errors.
Then, battery would die and the phone would shut down.
I'd put the phone on charge for all night, wake up to a "battery is full" message, make 2 calls (5 mins each say)...and the battery would die. I'd restart the phone, battery indicator would show full and then it'd die if I made a call.
I had them take a look, their tech did something, mumbled something about a "short" and in less than 24 hrs., had the same problem.
So question: is there a way that a firmware flash can induce a short of the battery and thus prevent it from charging?
Thanks.
