ok so i have a 1994 honda civic cx with a d16z6 motor out of a 95 si/ex civic. So i recently experienced some start up problems. After i would drive my car for a few miles and got the car warmed up i would shut it off. A few seconds later i go to turn it on and it starts but dies as if it ran out of fuel. I replaced my fuel filter and still was dying on me. so i replaced the fuel pump main relay and it seemed to work but im experiencing some power loss. My acceleration is not as fast as it used to be and i feel like it lost power. Im not certain on how many miles it has because i had to replace my guage cluster but i know for a fact that my car burns oil. so my question is, what causes power loss? should i just replace it for another motor or is there any liquids that i can use to restore power.? thanks
