What can be done to get internet on 2 labtops using verizon/alltel internet card?

A crossover (aka reverse) ethernet cable will connect the two systems if one of them can connect to the internet without the ethernet port. Wireless would work.

Then establish a Local Area Network between the two systems. Look up Internet Connection Sharing in your OS's Help.
