I am going backpacking in Peru for 3 weeks and I am really torn on which one of my cameras to take with me. I have a Sony DSC-H20 and a Sony DSC-W350. The H20 is a little more professional and I will probably be able to get some better photos with it, but is is way more bulky and I wouldn't be able to slip it into my pocket like the 350. The 350 lacks a little in features to the H20 but is extremely small and I could put it in my pocket and be like it isn't even there. I just can't decide what will be of more benefit. Convenience or photo taking ability. The H20 is still relatively small compared to a DSLR but I would have to carry around a daypack all the time if I took that one. Holding it all day is a little impractical.
What camera to take backpacking?
