process of manufactoring of the bike and car, and the gas too does not matter.... compare bikes to cars, from the moment you turn on your engine and leave the house, compared to doing the same thing, but leaving on bike. what commute would emit more carbon into the atmosphere? ---- tailpipe emmisions only, compared to the breath of the bicyclist. include sources please!
