I'm thinking about getting a dog, and I already have one silky terrier. But his favorite person is my dad, so I would like a small dog who would follow me around and not my dad. I want a dog who likes to cuddle and will bond very closely to me. I've heard chihuahuas bond very intensely to their owners, but I'm afraid my other dog would not get along with a chihuahua. Also, I'm fourteen, and I'm the youngest daughter of my family. What kind of breed of dog doesn't necessarily pick the "top dog," my dad, as their favorite person?
