What breed of cat does the computer-animated version of Garfield look most like?

He looks absolutely adorable in the live-action movies of him, and I know that the cat is animated, but what breed of cat does he ook the most like.
I think he looks slightly like a Persian or Exotic shorthair, but what other breeds with similar facial shapes are there?
