What breed do you think my dog is?

I think my dog Toby is a flat coated retriever, irish setter mix. What do you think? He's all black with dark gold markings on his paws, a white star on his chest, and gets a longer coat like a golden retriever. He's a big water dog, likes to hunt critters, but very loyal and sweet. he's got the fur and posture of a flat coated, but face of a lab for sure.
