I heard that Handcook and Blizzark are two of the best brands, but i am not sure which one to pick. Does anyone have any information on this? Or are there other bands that are great?

For snow go with Goodyear Fortera tripple treads.... goto tire rack.com and look at the ratings.... also Firestone Estinations AT's are very good.

Winterforce, made by Firestone, is a very good snow tire. Like some other winter treads they have a soft compound. You should run them in all four positions and adjust your driving style. They are pretty good for dry highway too but keep in mind they are softer compound winter tires not performance high speed ones. You can go to TireRack.com and read a lot of good information.
