What brand of clay should I use to make a bong?

My grandfather used to make them all the time, but I'm not sure what kind of clay he used. I'm not sure what clay to use seeing as how many on the market today are self hardening, chalk full of chemicals, or not smoke safe.

I'm looking for a smoke safe clay, that can be hardened preferably in a household oven.
 
ummm, my suggestion, is you don't make a bong, considering your going to use it for drugs, which you shouldn't do.... yeah, me and my smart decisions, vs you are you dumb ones....
