Alright, as loathe to join the military as I am, I cannot seem to get a job in this economy. Now I have some questions regarding the military. Which should I go into regarding these circumstances:
I don't want to die. I don't even want to see combat. I don't even want to be on the same continent as combat happening.
I want to work with computers. I'm an amateur programmer now, I've got linux experience, and computers are my love. So if I could get more training, or a job using computers, I'd be so happy.
So summary:
What branch should I go into for safety and computers?
My friend recommended me to go to the coast guard fyi, he said all they do is defend the coast (which sounds pretty easy)
