I am horrible at math but I need to take precalc for my major. The main topics covered by the course are Functions and Graphs; Inverse, Polynomial, and Rational Functions; and Exponential and Logarithm Functions. (I looked at the syllabus for the course). I am taking the class in the fall and I'll be taking 18 credit hours so I want to prepare myself over the summer so the course is a breeze. I bought the textbook for the course, however, I am having a hard time understanding it.
Has anyone found The Idiot's Guide to Precalculus or Precalculus Demystified or Precalculus for Dummies useful? Thanks for any advice you can give.
