What books should I read?

I've recently finished reading the Twilight series for the second time & am now looking for a few new reads.

I've never been much of a reader, but Stephenie Meyer's writing just drew me in and I couldn't get out! lol. I loved the way she developed the characters to the point where I felt like I knew them. I caught myself crying and laughing and feeling everything that the characters felt.

I adored the love story, but I think that I would need a little more than just a typical romance novel to keep my attention. I've always been intrigued with vampire stories and movies, but I'm not looking for a list of Vampire books & series specifically. And I also would like something that is more for adult audiences (I'm 25).

The only other book I can remember reading and enjoying is The Count of Monte Cristo.

If you can offer any suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated...Thank you!!!!

it is amazing i read it after twilight. its a little slow in the beginning but it a great read. i love it u really feel for the characters
 
The Black Dagger Brotherhood seires. It's amazing. Ive read I think five of them. At times I actually felt like I was the character.

Did you read The Host yet by stephenie meyer?
Also the books i'm reading right now are excellent.... The Sookie Stackhouse novels by, Charliane Harris the first one is Dead until Dark... (ever heard of True Blood - the books were made into the series) hope that helped!
