What books have you read that have made you cry?

the bible, book of mark when Jesus died - i mean seriously. I 'm not a religious person but it is a tearjerker.
 
The dictionary. I was standing up reading from this huge dictionary, and I dropped it on my foot. It hurt. I cried.
 
the kite runner & enemy combatant are both really good. a child called it is good too.
 
alot of books too many to name...and all genres too. books are very detailed and emotional..i cant help it. the first book i ever read was where the red fern grows and it made me cry..i was around 8 years old
 
Les Miserables had me sobbing!!!!!!!! And I definitely cried when I read some of the Redwall series lol I sound like a sucker but wow. I did. haha. well l don't cry easily at books so yeah those two really affected me. Read Les Mis! Excellent book.
 
Harry Potter 'The Deathly Hallows'.
I have never cried in a harry potter book, but there was a little sentence in this one that was a little bit of a tear-jerker.

"You'll stay with me?"
"Until the very end."

Watership Down, great story about a group of rabbits not really a kid's book can be quite dark but still very good.
 
well i just watched the movie Blow and wanted to cry, and i really want to read the book Blow, but ive already watched the movie, and thats the saddest part of this story.
