Hex Education is about a girl named Sophie Stone who has some horror-movie-addicted parents. Her father is the director of many horror movies, and received a letter from a person asking if he could help out a town called Mythic who was going through some severe storms and needed repair. Mythic was a place where there was a rumor that a coven of witches generations ago had died, and that every generation a new coven is born. Sophie totally hates moving from L.A. to this dreary little "mysterious" town. She goes to a new school, meets a cute and hot guy that she likes, and quickly makes friends with some popular girls who wear stylish clothes. Then Sophie realizes that she has magical powers and join with her witch friends to save Mythic form the disaster that awaits them. ***** Five Stars!
The Mediator Series by Meg Cabot
This series is about a girl named Susanna Simon(called Suze by her friends.) Suze can see ghosts and has the job as a mediator to help the ghosts finish the one thing they had to complete in the human world before their deaths. She encounters, along the way, Jesse, a guy who died before Suze's time. Suze soon falls in love with Jesse. Jesse helps Suze deal with the ghosts who, sometimes seek revenge to their deaths and the cause of it. Has some romance in every novel. I give this book ****/ 4 and a 1/2 stars!
) and i just finished my sisters' keeper and nineteen minutes both by jodi picoult. i don't mind scary, not very into romancey romance and yeah. any suggestions on what i should try reading???
