around the country and stuff? What book is this? A young man's journal about how he travels/hitch-hikes around the country and stuff?
a friend had a book I borrowed and I never got to finish it, it was about a guy that would just travel around the country, hitch hiking, and staying with girls he'd meet and then he'd be on his way again?

It was written/published in a journal type of form, It wasn't Kerouac.
The cover of the book was like a collage... It was pretty obscure I'm sure.
 
I was just about to write On the Road until I saw the "It was'nt Kerouac."
Sound's like a good read, it's exactly what I'm thinking about doing aswell. Hope someone gives a correct answer soon!
