They range from about 3-5 inches long and grown in clusters. They are white inside and black outside. They are not sticky, or furry, and are shaped like plump fingers.
Pretty sure they are not black tongues, as they don't resemble the right shape; they are more cylindrical and less flat.

The closest I have found is Geoglossum Falax, however they are round and not at all flat, with no distinct head.
