Here's the thing. I'm unemployed and public transportation adds up over time. I NEED to be able to get to several places weekly for multiple reasons from interviews/job hunts etc.
That being said I have a super small budget of between $100 to $150 for a bike so a bike shop is out of the question. Craigslist in my area is crap. Ive been looking weekly for several months and no gems have ever popped up. A walmart bike is my ONLY option while Im between jobs. Everyone recommends a bike shop but I simply do not have the budget for a custom/luxury bike. Here are the requirements:
-I just need something that wont be a total hassle that I can get from point a to point b a couple times a week. -I live in a hilly part of the city.
-I'm 5'4" and my inseam is 29 inches.
-Not a cruiser. Anything but that.
All walmart bikes are sized in 26 inch wheels instead of by the actual bike frame. My question is, which bike on the site is probably my best bet for not being too tall or too heavy and is there anything I can do if its unbearable like buy a set of 24" tires or something.
