*I'm looking to backpack through northern Italy, Austria, Czech Republic and Poland for 21 days in June.
*I've been reading from various sources, trying to ascertain what qualities the backpack should have and have been convinced of the following:
-detachable day pack (NOT fanny pack)
-2500-3500 capacity
- not expensive looking
- ..not expensive in reality ($80-$150)
-comfortable
-Hip straps (I have bad shoulders, so I would prefer most of the weight to be on my hips)
- I'm 5'4 so the pack can't be too long
ideas?
