what are your thoughts on the medias view of Swine Flu?

Because with the media, most storeys are either blown out of proportion, or its something that's very important made very unimportant..

Swine flu may spread, but with the Mild cases being found, and people recovering from it.. Plus the thought 750,00 casualty's is a bit far fetched..

so, what is your views on the bug, and the media storys?
 
Had to say since no one has ever encountered the H1N1 flu. It's a different strain that we have never seen before. This uncertainty about it is what makes it so dangerous.

one person dies in the USA and the whole world goes mad?

meanwhile the whole Mexican tourism Industry has gone completely and it might never recover!

you could say its overblown, or you could say better safe than sorry. was katrina overblown before it hit? or should we just take the chance its not that bad. dont get me wrong, hysteria and fear mongering have no place in the news, but people do need to be educated about dangers, most importantly, the steps needed to prevent outbreaks instead of pointing fingers..
