Toyota produced the fuel efficient cars that people wanted. This is what happens with capitalism and free trade.

The CEOs of the big three earn a lot more than that, actually. "The GM CEO got $14.4 million in compensation in 2007, including a salary of $1.56 million. Mulally [Ford's CEO] received $21.7 million for 2007, including $2 million in salary. "

If their profits can support such a salary, great! But they aren't selling cars now either.

toyota is making money and they can give the money!
big3 is not making money that's why they should not be giving away their money!

Well earned ... Toyota makes great cars!
Perhaps he could advise the the BIG 3 where they went wrong.
