I for one am disgusted that the 2011 military pay raise will be 1.4%, it really is unfortunate to me that our soldiers service is worth so little. Soldiers dont make much to begin with and even after 10 years of war they think that an extra 30 dollars a month is sufficient for another year of serving overseas having troops sent home with limbs lost or at worst in boxes. Military spending is ridicuolus we buy boxes of markers for 25 dollars 60 dollars for a box of computer paper 300 dollar office chairs that break in a matter of weeks, replacing furniture at a cost of nearly half a million per building when the old stuff is still in perfect condition. We can waste money on all of those things but we can not find the money to pay our troops any better. This is simply my opinion what is yours. Thanks.
