Theres 2 answers. Recluses, ie stars who do their job, ge on with it and don't crave attention deserve to be left alone. Others, who manipulate the press and crave it when they have new albums, books, tv shows etc... deserve everything they get

Do you think they are wrong to hound people or do you think that people who are famous deserve the hassle as it comes with the territory ?
Agree with everything you say Tech, especially the GMTV statement, my whole question really revolves around the Madonna / Guy Ritchie affair, how they have been (I think) hounded into admitting something was wrong with their marriage, when in fact it might have been a blip they could get through, the press just brings things more into the open and makes it harder for everyone concerned

It's wrong to hound people I'd say. Especially when people are trying to holiday. They don't seem to understand the word holiday means to take a break from their 'normal' life. Normal to them being hounded by the press/papparazi.

However, some of the blame filters back to the general public. If the public didn't watch 'gossip' TV, or buy gossip magazines, then there would be no call for the latest 'scoop'.

One has to wonder though, whether we're force fed it all. Take for example a 'headline' on GMTV today about Madonna. In all that's happening in the world, how somebody in the office justified that as the absolute top story of the morning, I have no idea. But then GMTV is less than quality programming it has to be said.

Let the dogs out, that will clear them away.
We all should be able to blow our nose in peace, basic human rights!
