If your teen has a cell phone do you have any rules about it? Like how much they can use it and do you take it away at night, what limits do you set?
I've never had to worry about this because even though my boys 15, 15, 13 have cell phones, they hardly used them much aside from calling us and texting a friend now and then. Most of the time they sat on the charger or in their room. My oldest two still barely use theirs but recently my 13 yr old social bug has been glued to his.
I told him last night that we were going to have to set some limits because he is texting constantly. It doesn't bother me but I don't think he needs to text so much. Also the other night I got up at 1:00am to use the bathroom and saw light in his room so I went in and he was texting with friends. So now I have been making him turn over his phone when it's time for bed.
So now that he is suddenly so into his phone, I was wondering what other parents set as limits.
