What are those things called that keep a bike stationary while you peddle?

I'm doing a bike ride for charity and am hoping to go outside my local supermarket and peddle my bike, while in remains stationary in one of those lock things to raise money from passers by, but i have no idea what the contraption is called that would hold your bike in place to do that
