Besides just AM and FM. I've heard of these "numbers station" that some are located in places such as Russia but can clearly be picked up here. How?
What is the difference between all these types of radio signals? I've heard of short wave, kHz, mHz, gHz VHF, UHF and some others. Whats the difference between them.
And what equipment would I need to pick up these signals such as the mysterious stations? Can I use my computer or even television? I ask about my TV because I know tv signals are essentially in the air. And can a conventional radio pick up these signals?
