What are these for?

Ok im sure they are for some accessories, just not sure which.

I have a tour pack, but it has no lights or speakers on it. Not sure if maybe that is what they are for?

I went on a PGR mission the other day and a guy with an electra glide said he bought a tour pack after the bike and the factory already had the harness in the left side cover. This right? I don't plan on putting speakers or lights on the tp but could these wires be used for something else? I cant find anything on this in my manual - it seems like it has alot of crap that my SG dont have. lol

Thanks!

I can tell you they are not for speakers on a tour pack, because I also have them on my 08 Ultra that comes with speakers on my tour pack. If I was to take a guess, maybe some kind of dignostic type plug for the dealer to hook a computer up to. But I could be completely wrong.....

on the right side of the fuse block, you have and tour pack harness, abs diode pack, rear fender light harness, the alarm is to the front left side and the data link is mounted under the fuse block.

The righthand small one looks like a battery tender lead. You can check that by following the wires and if they go to each terminal of the battery, bingo! The other looks as if it is for plugging diagnostic kit into your the EFI etc. Just don't cut them off, to tidy things up!

The smaller plug is the tour pac tail lights.
The larger plug is a fused line that can be used for accessory items, I.E. fog lights. The accesory kit will have it's own plug with it. The large plug you are holding there has the accessory plug in there that you can use for your own application.

the grey plug in your hand is the data link it should be clipped on under the fuse block the plug on the bottom is your abs. I am thinking the small black plug must be for lights you dont have on the street glide. The small plug to the left of the fuse block is for the alarm if you decide to add.

For sure, the smaller connector on the right is for tour pak lights. If you look at the main harness wiring diagram you'll see it and the wire colors will match.

The other is is either the Accessory connector (they are usually black plastic, not the gray you show), or the connector for the ECM (which are usually gray). Since I'm not positive about the connector color, the only way I know to be positive is to check the wire colors in the connector and compare them to those shown in the wiring diagram.

You can look at the main wiring harness diagram and identify the connector using wire colors.

I thought the acc plug was under the seat by the gas tank ?. From the picture the grey plug looks like the data link that should be clipped in directly under the fuse box ?.
