A long time ago, I was apart of an RL Stine book club, via Scholastic, two books that came had nothing to do with horror or RL Stine at all.
One was a book about this girl who was found in a barn or something, by the people she now calls her parents, and her brother. No one knew where she had come from,and because she couldn't walk for some reason, her parents got her a wheelchair which she now uses. Then, on her birthday or something, they go to the place where they found her, and she goes back in time to the civil war or something? and that is where she came from in the beginning. I think it stays mostly in the civil war after that, but it may weave in and out of times (The book is set in the "present day," and that is probably at least as recent as the late 80s-late 90s). The other book is that books sequel, and I think that the author was male, and the girl was turning 12 or 13 or something, if that helps at all. PLEASE HELP ME!!!
